Thanks to the utmost kindness of the site’s creators and main writers, I am now an occasional contributor to the excellent blog What Would The Founders Think?. In my inaugural piece for WWTFT?, I draw on the Declaration of Independence to discuss how the Founders would not take well to the suggestion that innocent citizens, especially Americans, had never been subject to atrocities perpetrated by their own government’s military, at least prior to the 1860’s.
